Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the CFG Financial Planning Mastery Program.
How long do I have to complete the program?
The program is designed as a 12-month journey aligned with your first year at CFG. You have flexibility in how quickly you move through each phase, but all required modules should be completed within your first year.
Can I complete modules in any order?
We recommend completing phases in order — Months 1–3: Onboarding content lays the compliance and licensing foundation that later modules build on. Within each phase, you may complete modules in whichever order works best for your schedule.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Upon completing all required modules, including the Module 24 Capstone, a CFG Financial Planning Mastery Program completion certificate will be issued and added to your personnel record.
Do I need my license before starting certain modules?
Module 02 covers licensing requirements and is designed to be completed before client-facing work begins. Some advanced product modules assume you hold an active Series 6, 63, or life insurance license — check the module prerequisites for details.
What if I need help or have technical issues?
Contact your designated onboarding coordinator or the CFG Advisor Services Admin team. Technical issues with the training portal should be directed to IT support.
Can I revisit completed modules?
Absolutely. All training content remains accessible after completion so you can reference it at any time — it's designed to be a long-term resource, not just a one-time course.
